Linda Wilkins
I
would like to run as Vice President of the ATFTC again this year for
2008. I am interested in helping to promote the breed to the best Toy
Fox Terriers possible for show and breeding purposes. I know that I
could help make a difference in how our Toy Fox Terriers are perceived
and valued.
Have owned registered
Toy Fox Terriers for over 36 years; breeding them and showing them in
numerous states since the late 1970's. Had the privilege to have
known several of the passed older breeders of the TFT's and gained a
lot from their passed experiences. I have bred and owned many UKC
Grand Champions and Champions. Also bred the first National Specialty
Champion for AKC that won in 2003. Have been a UKC judge since 1987
judging my first show in Paris, Texas.
Have served in
different capacities for the UKC Lone Star Toy Fox Terrier Club ( now
known as the Lone Star/Louisiana Toy Fox Terrier Club) such as Vice
President, Board member, and Show Chairman for many of our multi-breed
shows in the last six years, including setting up the first one.
I have served on the
ATFTC board for three years as Vice President; taking part in most
board meetings and helping with different committees. I have been
Banquet Chairman for two years and have helped with the auctions at the
Specialty Shows.
Was privileged to
have been the Sweeps Judge in 2006 at the National Specialty Show in
Oklahoma City, Ok.
Before
retiring, I was a partner in an Income Tax, Bookkeeping Company in
Baytown, Texas for many years. I am now retired and enjoy helping
to promote the Toy Fox Terrier Breed.
