I have been
showing dogs for 23 years.
I belong to
Des Moines Kennel Club, Cyclone Country kennel Club, Midwest Toy Fox
Terrier Club of Iowa, and the American Toy Fox Terrier Club.
As a member of
the ATFTC I was on the board for the 1 year as ways and means chair. I
also chaired the committee for the updating of the standards, now I’m
chairman of the breeder referral, and I was Treasurer for 2 1/2 months.
Also I’ve written the brochure for the ATFTC that is emailed or sent to
anyone that wants it to help them decide on a TFT and what to look for in
a quality breeder.
I’ve been on
the board of the Des Moines Kennel Club for approximately 10 years. I’ve
been the secretary 2 different times, several years each time. Why being
secretary I did all paper work for the AKC shows and wrote the contracts
for the judges and a member of this club for 20 years. I also worked as a
conformation instructor.
I’ve belonged
to the Cyclone Country kennel Club for 7 years and served as
vice-president for 2 years. I’ve worked as an obedience and conformation
instructor and was show chairman for 1 year.
I’m the
secretary for the Midwest Toy Fox Terrier Club of Iowa and was one of the
founders of the club. I wrote the constitution and by-laws for this
club. They have been accepted by AKC.
