Judges Selection Committee 

The Judges selection Committee shall consist of one Committee Chairman and up to two additional members,  both of which shall be non-board members.  The purpose of this committee is to present accurate information to the entire ATFTC membership in order to facilitate the  selection of judges for the ATFTC National Specialties.  The process shall include, but not be limited to:

1.     Providing a complete list of AKC judges approved to judge the Toy Fox Terrier Breed (based on AKC data as of the date of listing).

2.     Being aware of past year’s National Judges to determine that they are not eligible to serve within 5 years of last ATFTC National judging assignment.

3.     Have the above list printed in the Newsletter, along with Ballots allowing for Three choices  by each ATFTC member in good standing.

4.     The ballots shall of a deadline of 30 days after receipt of said Newsletter for their return to the Judges Selection Committee via the Secretary for tabulation.

5.     These ballots shall be tabulated and a revised list of 15 candidates (based on the 15 judges to receive the most ballots) shall be printed in the following Newsletter, along with a Ballot  allowing ONE (1) Choice  by each ATFTC member in good standing.

6.     These Ballots have a deadline of 30 Days after the mailing of the Newsletter for return to the Secretary.

7.     These Ballots shall be tabulated and a list of FIVE Judges will be contacted in order of the most votes received to extend an offer for them to judge the ATFTC Nationals 2010.

After a judge has been selected, the Secretary  shall place in the next Newsletter the list and the judge that has accepted the assignment.  This list will be terminated and the process will begin again the next year for selecting the Judge for 2011.
