The Show Chairman will follow the approved Show Chairman’s Manual as provided by the American Kennel Club for expected responsibilities.

All paper work  and   applications will be sent to the Board for review  prior to being sent to the American Kennel Club.    No contracts will be  signed without Board review and approval.  Various deadlines must be met and therefore these  materials should reach the Board for approval, in time to be returned and forwarded to the appropriate receiver. It will be the chairperson’s responsibility to make sure deadlines are met for submitting paper work to the AKC.

Committees will be put in place to cover all functions/activities of the show.

A proposed budget will be submitted to the board each year in time to allow for financial  obligations to be met.  As monies are collected by the committees, receipts should be given for all money received with duplicate  receipts, along with the monies sent promptly to the Treasurer for depositing.

Within 30 days after the shows are over, a show report will be sent to the Board that will include all finances, expenditures and income.  With this report it should include recommendations for the following year.
