President's Report
October 19, 2008
Dear Members:
For clarification purposes only, I am providing you with the following explanation(s):
-
I appreciate the nomination of me for the office of a Board of Director of the American Toy Fox terrier club. I accept that nomination- Ann Walton
This nomination did not specify that it was for an interim nomination, therefore it was accepted as a nomination for the 2009-2010 Board position
-
I accept the nomination for Board Member and agree to serve the interests of the Club to the best of my ability- Barbara Quast
This nomination did not specify that it was an interim nomination, therefore it was accepted as a nomination for the 2009-2010 Board position
With this understood, there were no petitioned nominations for the interim board positions. Therefore, Lynn McKee and Cindy Enroughty are not being challenged for their interim year. These positions will be again open for the 2009 election as a 2 year term.
-
I, Denise R. Monette accept the nomination of the American Toy Fox Terrier office of President- Denise Monette
This nomination was accepted as an interim nomination since the Presidents position is such and will be for 1 year. The position will again be open in 2009 for a 2 year term.
-
I, Sherry Bryant, accept the nomination for secretary of the American Toy Fox club for the 2009-2010 term- Sherry Bryant
Please note, this was a 2 year term and she did it correctly, running for 2009-2010.
-
I, Michele Basye, agree to accept the nomination for Vice President of the American Toy Fox Terrier Club (ATFTC) for the upcoming 2009 election to be held in 2008.
The position of Vice President is for a 2 year term. Michele clearly states it was for the 2009 election therefore she is ineligible to run for a 1 year term as it was not a position open for a 1 year term.
Please note that Bryant’s nomination was for a 2009-2010 term and clearly stated so.
The Interim Treasurer and interim board positions were not challenged therefore they are not on the ballot.
I hope this clarifies the issues.
Roger Pritchard, President
